A More Personal Approach to Therapy
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that are hard to break, you’re not alone.
Many of the people I work with appear high-functioning on the outside, but internally struggle with anxiety, overthinking, emotional exhaustion, or relationship stress. Therapy offers a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin making meaningful changes in a way that actually lasts.
I’m Nadia Hassan, a Licensed Professional Counselor providing online therapy for adults in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I have over 10 years of experience working in schools, outpatient mental health settings, and community-based programs, and I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help clients better understand themselves and build practical coping strategies.
My approach is both supportive and practical. Some people come to therapy needing space to talk and feel heard, while others want more structure, guidance, and tools they can actually use in their daily life. I tailor sessions to what works best for you so therapy doesn’t feel confusing or overwhelming.
Beyond my clinical training, my perspective is shaped by real-life experience. As a mother of three, I understand the emotional weight of balancing responsibilities, relationships, and personal growth. I also come from a multicultural background — my parents are Palestinian refugees, and I’ve lived in multiple countries before settling in the U.S. These experiences allow me to connect with people from different backgrounds with openness, respect, and cultural awareness.
Above all, I believe therapy should feel like a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself without pressure. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting — you just have to be open to the process.
If you’re ready to take the next step, you can verify your insurance or request an appointment using the options on this page. There’s no pressure to commit beyond the first session — the goal is simply to see if it feels like the right fit for you.
